What is the relevance of being relevant?
\nWho wants to be heard?
\nWhere is it important to be important?
\nWhen does my opinion matter and to whom does it matter to\nme?\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were two instances this week
\nIn truth it may have been two million
\nWhere I was confronted with
\nThe reality that I was
\nNo longer relevant
\nAnd to say no longer<\/em> implies
\nThat at one time I may have been
\nIf I were to spin the Wayback Machine<\/a>
\nFurther to a point in the past than
\nBefore it was to begin
\n
\nOnce upon a nonlinear line
\nI use to
\nBe someone
\nThe auto-deposit paycheck
\nFrom my employer
\nWas proof of that
\nIf not also
\nThe committee minutes
\nThat drogged on
\nLike millennium
\nAnd in truth would
\nNo Doubt
\nBe much shorter had I not
\nInsisted on making
\nMy Voice
\nHeard
\n
\nBut that was then
\nAnd this is wow
\nI can’t believe
\nYou forgot
\nWho I was
\nI have changed my name
\nMore times than most
\nBy marriage
\nDivorce
\nor
\nChoice
\nFrom daughter
\nTo Wife
\nMom to Grandma
\nMarried thrice
\nBut in truth I changed my name
\nfor at least three
\nOf my mother’s marriages too
\n
\nIt is only my final
\nChosen Name
\nThat ever cost me a nickle
\nBack in the day
\nIt was free to be
\nYou and me
\nBut I completed
\nThe process
\nAnd paid the fees
\nBecause it was
\nImportant
\nFor this irrelevant
\nMe
\nThat no longer
\nHas an employee
\nAutodeposit
\nAt the bank that
\nNo longer knows my name
\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So soon here
\nBefore the new year
\nIt is likely I will
\nBe who I say
\nThat I am
\nWell me and a judge
\nIn the superior courts
\nAs published in
\nNewspaper for
\nFour consecutive weeks
\nBecause THAT
\nIs what you need to do
\nIn order to be heard
\n
\nWhat follows will be
\nA lot more work
\nTo get all of my
\nAccounts in order
\nAnd that will take time
\nBut there is no hurry
\nBecause I am no longer
\nAny of the entities
\nThat I once was
\nAnd my words
\nMay no longer
\nOpen doors
\nOr seal the deal
\nBehind the wheel
\nSo I can take my time
\nUntil it’s done
\nAnd on my tombstone
\nIt can read
\n
\nIn the end
\nIt matters not
\nWho you were
\nIn the database of Life
\nOr if you were
\nArchived in the
\nHonor rolls
\nOf the trolls
\nThat followed
\nYour footsteps
\nPerhaps no thing
\nMattered behind
\nThe legend that
\nLived on
\nEven before you
\nWere gone
\nSo maybe we just
\nKeep looking
\nInside
\nAnd work on
\nOur own Light
\nA little
\nBecause our
\nBrightness isn’t
\nIn anyone else’s
\nEye doesn’t matter
\nAs much as the
\n*I* in me, myself and
\nWhy care at all
\nIf we eventually fall
\nFrom glory
\nIt was never worth
