When the cows come home

One of the problems in misleading the public with misinformation, is that we instill a belief that no one can be trusted and the scientific method is invalid. From there the fear mongering profiteers capitalize on the vulnerable and confused.

Cautionary tales would tell you, that this mass of misinformation can quickly turn upon you.

Take for instance the Tenn Gov who is struggling with rumors after chumming the water with anti mask mandates. Turns out the state incenticizes farmers to vaccinate their cows (but won’t give covid incentives) … and now that has morphed into some people believing that Tenn farmers are giving Covid vaccines to cows in order to vaccinate the beef consuming population unwillingly.

The climate is prime for capitalizing on mass hysteria. And the unscrupulous know how to exploit the market. We have created a monster in our masses. We shouldn’t be naive to believe we know what happens when the cows come home.
